Love and Care Mission, a tax-exempt non-profit organization was started in the year 2007 with the purpose of helping the poor and needy children in their education, food, clothing, shelter, medicines. Also, Love and Care Mission is offering its support to various orphanages, homes for the aged and drinking water programs worldwide.
These pictures depict children in India who are supposed to be growing within a family, receive love and affection, go to school to receive a good education are forced by circumstances to drop out from schools and become child laborers in order to survive. The parents too are unable to provide the needed education for the child because of their own poverty.
Africa, Ghana are countries that are going through terrible poverty conditions. Millions of children are starving and the death rate keeps growing everyday because of hunger.
India is one of the largest and most populated countries in the world with over one billion inhabitants. It is estimated that around 2.4 million Indians are currently living with HIV/AIDS. In a country where poverty, illiteracy and poor health are rife, the spread of HIV presents a daunting challenge. Love and Care Mission is supporting various programs for the HIV affected children in their education, medication, sanitation and personal care.
In the developing countries because of lack of education the mentally challenged are often unable to receive proper medical attention and treatment. Love and Care Mission is supporting two programs where excellent care is given to the needy.
Having one third of its population below poverty line, many children are orphaned in India. Love and Care Mission sees a big need to support the orphanages that are nurturing the young lives.
It is a fact that many of the street children who have run away from home have done so because they were either beaten or sexually abused. Tragically, their homelessness can lead to further abuse through exploitative child labour and prostitution.
